Toolstation partnered with Found, having been at a large network agency they felt performance was stagnating.
Found provided expert opinion on current implementation and showed potential uplift off the back of changes we would make to the account.
From the pitch stage we had already set ambitious growth targets across paid search, our objective was to deliver against these ambitious revenue growth numbers.
The current agency had been running the account for the past 2 years, they knew the products well and were engrained in how Toolstation operated.
Our biggest challenge was delivering considerable uplift in a short period, but we were confident based on what we’d seen that there were big opportunities for growth.
Toolstation also have big competition, with the likes of Screwfix, Wickes and DIY.com competing across all products.
We onboarded Toolstation during a lower demand month, but needed to make an impact to set ourselves up for achieving the ambitious growth targets. This coupled with an increasingly competitive auction mandated that we applied our best practices and always tested and implemented innovative strategies to stay ahead of the curve.
