Raising awareness of a new hotel.

The Clermont hotel launched as a new brand in 2021. A key focus for this new hotel brand was to get its name out there and capture a new audience through creating informational content about London.

CHALLENGE

The market for content targeting London is extremely saturated with sites such as TimeOut and Visit London able to create dozens of articles a day targeting the highest search volume terms.

OUR APPROACH

“Our approach for content was to leave the super-high search volume and highly competitive terms alone. Our approach instead focused on our target market and focusing on hyper-local and upcoming search search demands.”

CAPTURE EVERYGREEN DEMAND

We wanted to make sure the content we were creating would stand the test of time. When conducing research we ensured that the topics we were choosing either had a consistent search volume or were increasing.

SPOT UPCOMING TRENDS

We wanted to prioritise local businesses opening up within our content to get rank well early on for these terms and capture demand as it increases. We also looked at consumer trends across different channels TikTok, Instagram, Twitter to spot hidden gems. The search demand for these hidden gems would then see increases in demand at a later date.

FOCUS ON OUR TARGET MARKET

The target market for The Clermont is the more affluent section of visitors to London. We targeted content ideas that this audience would be searching for.

In 2024 traffic to the blog articles has increased and (every year since its launch) traffic has seen YoY growth.
